Bridal Party

Aarti

Aarti and Annique met at a Junior State of America (student-run organization) Annique’s freshman year of high school. Aarti was the epitome of cool wearing an awesome power suit. Aarti soon went off to MIT but Annique was right behind going to a school down the river. In fact, Aarti brought Annique to her first day of undergrad on a bus from MIT. Aarti is now a Radiologist resident at UCLA and lives in Southern California with her husband and son, Manav.

​Chinwe

Chinwe and Annique were college roommates. They met through Annique’s freshman year roommate who had met Chinwe in a pre-orientation program. Chinwe was so cool that Annique was totally intimidated by her and didn’t get up the nerve to talk to her until November, which meant she missed Chinwe’s epic freshman year birthday party which was talked about for years.. Chinwe has a Masters in Public Health and works for a Think Tank in Washington DC.

​Jamie

Jamie is Jason’s sister and Annique’s new sister.  She is the lead trainer at an equestrian facility where she teaches riding and trains high school teams. She also is very involved in the Special Olympics and does a lot of therapeutic riding (helping people with disabilities ride and build the confidence and physical benefits of riding). In short, she’s who Annique wanted to be when she grew up from age 4 onwards. Jamie lives about an hour from Jason and Annique with her husband and daughter, Layla.

Janet

Janet and Annique met their first day of work at Sears Holdings in Chicago. That evening all the new analysts decided to go to dinner. Unfortunately it was in the middle of a storm which had a tornado warning. Needless to say there was some freaking out and they had a choice - never speak again or become very close friends. They chose the second. Janet works for a start-up in Chicago after recently leaving the consulting firm that is Annique’s company’s competitor.

​Jennifer

Jen and Annique met sophomore year of high school at a JSA meeting for elected officers. The name of a certain politician came up and they both said "I can't stand him!". Whoever said friendships can't form over politics is wrong. Since then they've visited each other in every city they've lived in (including Annique negotiating with Jen’s landlord over a new mattress when she went to grad school). Jennifer works for the State Department and is one of the top experts in the US on preventing human trafficking. Jen lived in DC with her husband.

​Marielle

 Marielle and Annique met sophomore year of college, and then pretty much spent the next 3 years never going more than 2 meals without seeing each other. They've traveled around the US and to Paris and Disneyland together. Most recently, Marielle was Annique’s roommate in Atlanta while she filmed a movie there. Marielle works in Hollywood and transitioned about a year ago from directing/producing reality TV (i.e., Storage Wars, I'm Alive) to big blockbuster movies (just did Baby Driver). Marielle technically lives in Southern California, but works all over the world.

​Yu-Ann

Yu-Ann and Annique met freshman year of college and were pretty much inseparable ever since. They've traveled to Paris and the Galapagos together, as well as many trips around the US. Yu-Ann introduced Annique to the jumping pictures and Annique is currently attempting to convince Jason to include one in the wedding. :-) Yu-Ann is the person that knows all aspects of Annique’s personality, yet still likes her (somehow). Yu-Ann works at Google in San Francisco.

Yuming

Yuming and Annique met at a Unilever Day on the Job in business school. After about 20 minutes of talking, Annique said to him "we're going to be friends." Since he had no choice, he agreed. Yuming and Annique’s friendship solidified over many breakfast talks in business school (the only person she’d wake up early for) and texts and phone calls have kept them close ever since. Yuming lives in Philadelphia where he works for Johnson and Johnson.

Groom Party

​Arthur

Art and Jason met in middle school and even played on the same basketball team in 6th grade...when they were the same size. They were neighbors in college at UGA and have been going on epic trips around the world ever since… including the trip where Jason first messaged Annique. Art lives with his wife and daughter in Charlotte.

​Andy

 Andy and Jason met in high school. They shared a love for good music, fishing, and worked at the same golf course together before college. Andy and his wife, Caroline, live in Charleston, SC.


​Brett

Brett and Jason met in middle school and became good friends college when Brett would come to visit Art at UGA. Brett moved to Atlanta after graduation before his adventures took him to New Zealand, Charlotte, and now Chicago where he works for the consulting firm where Jason spent 5 years after college.

Bullet

Bullet and Jason met in high school. Growing up, Jason felt like a part of Bullet’s family being invited to join vacations to Disney, Litchfield, Fripp, Leesburg, and Boston. Bullet went to college at Clemson (a little over an hour from Athens) so Jason and Bullet were able to spend many weekends together during the school year. Bullet lives in Columbia, SC with his wife, Erin, and their son.

​Chris

Chris and Jason met playing baseball when they were five years old. They played on the same teams off and on through high school and even on the same intramural softball teams in college. Chris and Jason have been on many trips together, including some epic trips to Mexico and some crazy cruises. Chris lives in Birmingham with his wife Cristina.

Danny

Danny and Jason met after college. They have enjoyed many adventures together including memorable beach and cruise vacations. Danny is currently living in San Francisco where he’s working on a startup to disrupt the logistics industry.

​Phred

Phred and Jason met in college and lived on the same dorm hall second semester of freshman year. Phred and Jason bought a house together after college and co-habitated for quite some time. Phred is a liquor distributor and is charged with discovering new wines and liquors from around the world. Phred lives in Atlanta with his wife, Brittany. ​

​Nick

Nick and Jason played on the same baseball team before high school, and became close friends in college. They were roommates at UGA sophomore - senior year and have remained close ever since. Nick works for an executive search firm in Atlanta.
